My Story
First, I want to tell you that I LOVE SCENTSY! This business has totally changed my life and for that I am forever grateful! I joined in February 2009. I LOVED the fact I could have something that smelled BETTER than a candle going in my house at all times without worrying if I had blew out the wick! It is the BEST feeling when you walk in your home and it just smells great! That is hard for me since we have 2 boys and 2 dogs in the house!
When I first started, I set my goals. I wasn’t very sure how I could make a lot of money but my “BIG” goal was to pay my house payment. We had 2 kids that weren’t in school yet so I stayed home. I thought it would be awesome to pay our largest bill, while being able to stay at home with the boys. I didn’t really think I could do it but I tried anyways. I took my scent samples and catalogs to my friends and family. I let them smell and I ended up with $500 in preorders BEFORE my launch party! This was EASY! Scentsy was selling itself! I had my launch party and I was SO excited! I got 2 parties booked AND sold a lot! I ended up paying my house payment with my FIRST commission check! I could not believe it! By this time, I was on fire and couldn’t get enough Scentsy! I continued to share and started sponsoring my team. Everyone could see my love for Scentsy and they wanted to be a part of it too!
I attended my first convention in 2009 -Salt Lake City, Utah. There I met all of my “Scentsy Family”. I knew this was meant to be for me! I became director at Convention 2010 – Denver, CO and also earned the Annual Sales Award! I was so excited! I have also earned MANY ALL EXPENSES PAID incentive trips with Scentsy! These are once in a lifetime trips for me! I would never have gone to these wonderful places if it weren’t for Scentsy! Each year we also have annual conventions that I have been able to travel to; From Salt Lake City, Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada! My Scentsy team (Southern Star Lights) is more like family to me! We have so much fun traveling with each other! I have met my BEST FRIENDS! I couldn’t imagine my life without Scentsy and our Scentsy family!
The best part about Scentsy is that this is YOUR business! You get to choose how you want to work it. If you would like to focus more on home parties, you can! If you would rather have shows and basket parties, you can do that too! You choose the amount of time you work each week! We have great resources and lot of help!
